The Potz Cafe - Loh Shee Fon

The Potz Cafe

The Potz Cafe situated at Jln Sultan, PJ. It is famous with claypot LOH SHEE FON. This was my lunch on last Saturday. Ops, we were the only customers in da cafe, perhaps holiday! We ordered 2 Loh Shee Fon and 2 cups of tea for our lunch set. It costs RM20.50. The Loh Shee Fon is so smooth with aroma. Great! This is the best Loh Shee Fon that i ever tried in Malaysia so far!

Big bowl of Loh Shee Fon with an egg and small pieces of pork. Yummy!
Seremban Char Siew in Petaling Jaya now!

Char Siew rice was my brunch on last Sunday. I cannot remember the shop's name but the only thing I can remember is, it is situated near my Faye jie's house. That's all! LOL. Just a simple "kopitiam". Faye jie told me that the boss is a PHD holder. It sounds ridiculous right? PHD works as a Char Siew boss? LOL. $$$ num1, "no money no talk" nowadays, no choice isn't it? We ordered a Char Siew rice and Wan Tan Mee (dry) with 2 "leong sui". There was many peoples but they are quite efficient and effective.

Wan Tan mee with crispy Char Siew.Wow, Fantastic!

Char Siew with the sauce. You should order a bit fat in the Char Siew, that's the part that will kill you that taste very good. It tasted like eating jelly.

p/s: Do not eat more the fat part of char siew because it is oily.

Satay @ Kajang

Satay @ Kajang

SATE KAJANG HJ.SAMURI

Location: N02 59.6585 E101 47.1308 Kajang, Selangor

Getting there: The Satay Center off the Kajang Stadium

Outlook of Kajang Hj. Samuri

I think Sate Kajang HJ.Samuri is the biggest satay center and very well-known in Malaysia. It has few branches in Selangor area. The only difference Satay Kajang from normal satay is the amount of meat, is definately more and of course you pay more for it too. (that's my opinion LOL). It cost RM0.60 each stick. The peanut sauce can mix with the sambal. Not bad.

We went for supper there about 11pm something. So we decided to sit at the up stair because the environment sounds cool. Unfortunately, the service was so poor at the up stair. We were waiting about 15-20 minutes but nobody comes to serve us. Ish! So we decided to move to down stair. Wow, the waiter welcomed us and get an order from us within 1 minute. That was efficient and effective. LOL We ordered 30 sticks of chicken and i had 10 sticks. Each stick (skewer) has large chunks of meat, so 10 is a lot. They provide a variety of satay like chicken, chicken liver, mutton, beef, beef tribe, fish as well as deer and rabbit. They have nasi impit and ketupat, your choice. The main difference is, the use of coconut leaf; traditional vs modern methods to make compressed rice. Ketupat being the traditional with coconut leaf and nasi impit being the modern using plastic. The sticks can be sticky at times due to the sloppiness of mass production.

You need to climb for this stage to reach the up stair.
